First Smile....

We received our first smile from Colton about two weeks ago. I tried multiple times to catch it on camara but it never worked out. Daddy finally got it on camara a couple of days ago!!! It is the sweetest smile ever!!!!

I must go because that smiling boy in the picture above....Well, not so much at the moment.

Colton's shower was on the 16th. Many thanks to those that attended on such a cold, rainy and nasty day! It was so great to share Colton with everyone.
Special thanks to Alicia, Karissa, Pam, Pam, Susan, Rebecca and my Mom for putting together such a special day for Colton, Juan and I. We will remember it always.

Colton's 1st Valentine's Day

Colton's 1st Valentine's day was filled with his first three valentine's day cards, his first valentine's day presents and his valentine's day outfit, which Daddy will probably never allow again. Please enjoy the pictures....He was not in the mood to suffer fools (mommy)!!! Everytime I got him to sit up next to his dog he would fall over and cry!!!

Granna and Poppy gave him the dog that sings "shout" while his red ears flop up and down. Colton does not know what to think of the dog but his facial expressions are hilarious to watch.

My Dyson Vacuum...My new Best Friend

I never thought a vacuum cleaner would be my new best friend but I would die without my Dyson!!! Not because of the awesome job it does sucking dirt out of our carpet but flip that switch and Colton lays his head down and goes to sleep!!!
Colton has had colic for the last couple of weeks and the only two things that calms and soothes him is the vacuum cleaner and the hair dryer. Sleep has been really hit or miss at our house lately.
We took Colton to the Dr. and he gained to 11.5lbs!!! He is our growing boy. He is changing so much. Last week he discovered his hands and this week the goal has been to get those hands to his mouth on purpose. He is so funny to watch. His features are changing and he really has started to recognize J and I when we talk.
He has started to coo a little. He will sneeze and this sweet coo will come out after every sneeze....Again, cracks us up. We are amazed at how entertaining he can be!!!
